lawyer: was it your intention to get young black people to be violent to police? tupac: no lawyer: were you trying to provoke anyone to do anything particular? tupac: yes lawyer: tell us what tupac: think. do you believe music is responsible for young people's actions? not limited to rap, that's just my example. there's lots of music charged with making kids go nuts, metal, junk school shooting kids listen to, etc. whenever young people do something bad they always turn around and ask what music they were listening to. |

Well yes, definitely music DOES have an influence on people depending on her personality, likes, dislikes, characer, etc. Everyone likes different and similar kinds of music. There are tons of varieites! Can't stop. Well music has effect on people and people may have the power to simply enjoy the music. There's a difference between "music's influence on people" AND "people's music influence on the industry". The person oneself has responsiblities to take care of their music career. In other words, music is a good thing. People just choose bad decsions. YOU HAVE THE CHOICE TO CHANGE YOUR DECISON.
And another thing, don't blame music for people's bad habits or behavior. Music is not a target for people's bad acts. It's the people themselves that makes the [good or bad] choice, not the music.
