Lady Gaga vs. Katy Perry? Options

So upon the release of Lady Gaga's latest video, "Alejandro," Katy Perry posted on her Twitter account, "Using blasphemy as entertainment is as cheap as a comedian telling a fart joke."

So which videos/singer do you prefer -- videos about faux lesbianism or ones that feature latex outfits and swallowed rosary beads?

both of them are great. you just need to know them better. watch gaga's interview with larry king. i think gaga is the better one though since she's more of an impact person compared to katy perry. gaga actually has REASONS why she makes her videos, yeknow. the alejandro one was about homosexuality in the army, and the coffin in the beginning represents all the gay rights being restricted inside, but gaga carries a heart that has an "A" representing Alejandro, which is someone she loves in the video but he's gay. she's basically trying to say that you could take anything away from the gays but they still have the heart to keep going on, and the rest of the video is just about her trying to make alejandro like her, even if his friends try to make love to her near the end. just like bad romance, it represents woman's rights when gaga tries to stand up against her russian sex owner.

Not sure if you're just stating that to everyone or if that was directed at moi since I posted this, but I completely concur. I love Gaga. As for Katy, I can't take a woman seriously when she wears a whipped cream-squirting bra in her video. That's so degrading on so many levels.
