I had my first glass of wine today. It smelled like apple juice and tasted like vinegar. Aka. Crap. It was horrible. Why do people like that stuff?

I've still made several great friends and had way more fun than I could have at a party, where most people are just looking to hook up and can't hold a half-decent conversation. I don't think anyone can have fun at a party with that kind of mentality =/ We gonna party though. |

I don't think anyone can have fun at a party with that kind of mentality =/ Yeah, really. My older cousin, who's a college senior, told me that you don't go to a party/bar/club to make friends with whom you can hang out and have good conversation, and so far I've found that to be true. Maybe I'm a square for not enjoying myself at parties, but I just don't like being around people who are binge-drinking, especially when they won't remember my name if I ever see them again. I'd rather meet people around campus, whether in the dining halls, library, or just chilling out between classes. |
