It's one of the few "chick-lit" series I've read (I only watch GG, never wanted to read it) and it should be way scandalous. That's only if the production staff actually does a good job, though, and doesn't over-dramatize unnecessarily, or make all the characters one-dimensional. I'll have to watch the pilot and see if it's worth following.
