Do you feel that your parents are trying to live through you? Or do you play a game that you try to live your life like how you wanted it to be?
I am living through my little brother right now. He is going to the prestigious prep school that I went to, so I want to make sure that he does things the right way. |

i don't think i live vicariously through anyone. i don't really take pleasure in whatever people do unless it directly affects me or if i care about them, but then that's not really living vicariously through them. i don't think my parents live vicariously through me either, at least not anymore. perhaps back when i was in high school 'cause i was doing what they both originally wanted to do --art. but now that i'm in the science field, not so much anymore ;| my entire family is also unhappy with "average" and even "above average". i'm probably the first to break the line with all my major hopping and "galavanting". |
