What was it like when you first left for college? Were you scared? Excited? Did you get homesick at all? What were some of your first experiences? I'm heading off to college this year. I'm both excited and nervous. What was it like for you? Any advice?

isn't procrastinating even more hard to accomplish in college though?

No, it's a lot easier to procrastinate because, at least if you dorm, there's no one to tell you to do your work or be in bed by a certain time. Learning good time management skills is key. It can be tempting to put your work off and stay up late every night, but that will take its toll on your body and on your GPA. You want to have as high a GPA as possible by the end of freshman year so that there's a "cushion" for your next three years.

Just try not to be raped/murdered. Does the collage you go to have rape buttons around campus? cuz you'll use them 3-5 times a week.

I'll assume that you're joking, but even so, I wanted to say this isn't necessarily true.. Yes, there are phones and buttons you can use to alert public safety that you're in danger, but I've never had to do that so far. My school is small and I've always felt safe around campus when it was late.

Also, it's "college"; this is a collage. :)
