interests or lack there of Options

i think one of my biggest pet peeves is people who don't seem to be interested in anything. you ask them what they are interested in and they can't even hardly give an answer, or they can only think of one or two things. why are people so uninteresting? do you feel you are an interested person?

For me, I'm more dismayed by a general lack of interst in anything than annoyed. If you ask me what I'm interested in, I'd probably go off for days. Then again, I require a lot of entertainment (books, movies, television, music, games and so on). I find entertainment in cooking (and in particular, reading cooking books which has spawned shelves of cuisine related books). Anyone here that knows me at all, knows that I'm very much into comic books, particularly DC and Vertigo prints. I've never been ashamed of it, even though at times it feels like there's an intellectual (or lack thereof) stigma to it.

Then there's the kid. Autism is subject that can be easily discussed at length. Hell, having a kid period can be means of discussion or idle chatter.

I don't know, I never feel like I'm lacking in subject matter though I completely understand the feeling that it can seem challenging to find people to talk to because getting anything out of them is like pulling teeth.
