band layout centering Options

hi Everyone, I've been following this forum, which is absolutely awesome, in order to make my first DIV band layout.

the things is, i don't get it to work properly both in explorer and firefox, and even simple as it is, i don't really get what I¡m doing wrong. Any help will be very apreciated.
My web as it looks nowadays (in firefox, it looks fine, but not in explorer :(
