Some c**t downloaded the new Sherlock Holmes movie while connected to my unsecured wireless network and I got shit for it. I managed to get WB to make it a warning and not a lawsuit, but shit still sucks. I'll avoid pirating any WB movies for a while. |

Either way, you shouldn't have gone down without a fight. Don't let the bullies intimidate you, especially if you're right.
I'd tell them to go ahead and sue. If they weren't bluffing, I'd bring the router logs to court as well as every one of my WiFi capable devices, show them that the MAC address doesn't match, then file a counter suit, hoping they give me a decent settlement. And optionally, build a dedicated torrent box with the settlement money :) |
