would you consider converting from your current religion to be with someone who is of a different religion? or for people who are atheist, would you reconsider being religious if you were interested in someone who was religious? also if you are theist would you ever date or consider dating someone who is atheist?

I don't think I would. I honestly don't believe that people can just change their faith just because of... well, "love".
I'm agnostic and I think that if I fell in love with someone who was Christian or Catholic or Buddhist or whatever, I would respect their faith but I certainly wouldn't suddenly believe in what they believe. And I definitely would not appreciate it if they tried to pressure me into their religion. That being said, I'm not sure if I would actually be able to date anyone who believed in something I didn't. We would be way too different to begin with, and I'm pretty sure the mention of religion would just get both of us all riled up (that is, if he is really committed to his belief). But who knows, eh? Maybe my thoughts will suddenly change when I do meet someone. |
