quick question,
when you buy a laptop or computer is it supposed to come with a CD inside?? my friend bought a laptop and it did, and i bought one too but no CDs came with it, and my old XP desktop didn't come with one either when i bought it.. |

still open?? hmm
Dell gives you restore disks for the operating system. Was the disk for the OS, or was it for something else entirely? well i didn't need it, i was wondering in case i would later need to restore it (and i did but i didn't need a cd), also i've heard u need one for reinstalling windows or somethiing |

still open?? hmm well i didn't need it, i was wondering in case i would later need to restore it (and i did but i didn't need a cd), also i've heard u need one for reinstalling windows or somethiing So, it was a Windows (restore) CD? You really would probably never use it, only if for some reason, something corrupts your entire system, and you have to replace the HDD. Then you would use the CD... If it's just restoring the computer to original settings, There are administrator options for that. |
