I was just curious how many of you have studied abroad, either in high school or in college. Or if any of you are interested in studying abroad and what steps you're taking to make that happen...

I'd just like to hear a little bit about your experience, since I'm interested in eventually studying abroad.

I plan on studying abroad in Japan next summer. Deadlines for studying abroad usually happens during the fall semester. I've taken 3 Japanese Language courses in order to fulfill the requirement of the program.

I know studying abroad is very expensive, and I have been saving up money for it and you probably should too. Also, there's a study abroad building on my campus, where you can go and look at fliers and talk to counselors there if you're ever interested. Not sure if your college have one as well. Best thing is talking about someone in the program you are most interested in.

We don't have a building, more like a room lol

I was going to spend half of my junior year of high school in Germany, but I couldn't afford it. I plan on talking to someone at my school, because prices vary so much depending on where you go and where you stay when you're there.
