My Grandmother Was Diagnosed With Slight Alzheimer's A Couple Of Months Ago, But Since Sunday, She Won't Eat, She'll Only Drink A Few Sips & She's Sits Her Cup Back Down. At Some Points, Her Speech Is Slurred, And She Mixes Everything Up.(Examples: Trying To Put Her Tissue On Her Foot Like A Sock, Her Blanket Like A Pair Of Pants, And Trying To Pour Water Down A Heater.) I'm Not Sure If This Is Common In Alzheimers Or If She's Had A Light Stroke, Any Advice?

It's Really Hard To Read What You Have To Say When You Type Like This, Doesn't It Get Annoying?
Seriously, if you thought she had a stroke she should have been taken to the ER right away. Since you're saying you did that and they ran tests, what kinds of tests were they? Check this out. Sounds a lot more like Stage 6 Alzheimer's (clicky). I surely hope that you have medical professionals helping you and whomever else care for her. |
