JC, I think someone mentioned it already, but Uncharted 1 and 2 are fantastic. The second one is particularly awesome because it's seems more cinematic to me (if that's your thing - stories and such winding in and out of game play). I'm awful at describing things though (and also, can't remember if it's been mentioned already).
