this is so sad.
i had a 3.72 (on a 4.0 scale) in HS and my GPA in college is... a lot lower T_T |

I thought overall the college gpa was lower than highschool ?
(cause of expectations) I wouldn't know since I'm not in college yet but ill prolly find out the hard way... |

I thought overall the college gpa was lower than highschool ? (cause of expectations) I wouldn't know since I'm not in college yet but ill prolly find out the hard way... That usually is the case, as I found out my first year. :P instead of high school having grades and points for every little thing, you'll find that some professors take only a few grades, mainly from tests and projects. So, if you do badly on tests and half-ass projects you won't find yourself getting the straight A's you've become accustomed to in highschool. Plus, you'll find yourself enjoying life more than college. |

That usually is the case, as I found out my first year. :P instead of high school having grades and points for every little thing, you'll find that some professors take only a few grades, mainly from tests and projects. So, if you do badly on tests and half-ass projects you won't find yourself getting the straight A's you've become accustomed to in highschool.
