A project we did at school: to create an album cover/back for an existing band.

I created a mixed CD since I asked and my teacher allowed me to. _smile.gif
I did this around May of 09, so last school yr >____<"

Posting this up now b/c I'm bored and have not posted anything on here in quite a while. :)

+ ah, I just realised the text is kinda hard to read :| oh sadface.

c&c on anything and such to improve for future projects of this year? :)

omg, i miss you toby.<3

anyways, i think the orbs on the front cover should be a bit smaller and definitely add that glamor glow to it. the city photo looks really breath taking, so try to make the viewers stay aware of the picture instead of the huge text.. i say you should change the whole text and try to make the text flow much better and blend in..

for the back cover, there's not much to critique. i wish the text writing wasn't so big though for the list of tracks. the text really kills the background view of the city, and that is the subject, right? remove the text, and use the pen tool. there's an odd curvy shadowy line near the grass. take the advantage and place your text there. make the font small, but still readable. you should also leave some spaces for each track so they won't be clustered.
