Layout: RaveGirl, Constructive criticism plz Rating Options

This Layout was rejected because (and i quote);

*the image is clearly not well designed ;it\'s just a \"neon glow\" effect on a picture of a girl changed to red. the structure of the layout isn\'t strong either.*

first off christy, thats your opinion and it doesnt speak 4 every 1 sum ppl like simple layouts and secondly the image is NOT just a girl and a neon glow it just so happens that i made a vector design put it on a blank canvas added a girl made the boxes and then turnd it into a neon glow. as far as structure wat makes it strong eh? dnt be so uptight and mean while rejecting layouts maybe u should tell them wat u think could help fix it.

Any way here it iz if u dont agree with christy n would like this layout let me know.

LMAO, I'm sorry but what you just stated was funny. This is an image of a girl with a neon glow affect, just like Christy said but she said it less wordy. I don't think its the designer's job to tell you how to fix your layout, I think their job is to view layouts that are submitted, judge them, and come to a decision if they want a layout to be used by other users for createblog.com. You could always asked though..

For your skills since I think you are a beginner in design( which is no problem) I think you should view other layouts on Myspace. I think your divs where your user will put your information is not aligned well. It needs balance. I think the gradient colors you used for the title Ravengirl is not good. This really does show that you're amateur. You could add more style to the girl instead of one effect...

As for reading your last post....it seems you are trying to defend yourself from what other people said negative about your design. A well design takes time. That means if you want your design to look good you will put all your time and effort. Do you think someone who quickly put something together would accept your work. That's like presenting trash.

Don't take it too hard though because this is how designer's improved on their skills. You should take what a design professional said to you. They did the same things you did, they know what looks good from bad. Take their word, take your opinion, and improve.
