Just a suggestion (not finalized so don't freak out)
 . Do you think this would improve the layout community?  Would designers be willing to create Gaia layouts? I think it would be good but I'm only one person with one opinion.

If I were to see people posting up gaia layouts in showcase, I might be more apt to entertain this (serious conversation further, that is haha. We admins don't have access to make these types of changes). Not only have I not seen much interest in an actual subsection, I can't recall seeing any interest or any type of showcasing for these, at all (certainly not recently).
Don't get me wrong, I think that having a diverse selection of different types of layouts is great, but there has to be some interest and more importantly, there has to be people willing to create and submit these layouts, lest it fall under the same fate as Hi5 and Friendster. |
