Band Layout Positioning, I'm having a few problems. Options

Alright first is first. It may look like I'm ripping this layout but I can assure you I am not. I really enjoy the way they positioned the layout instead of the typical "boxy" style that most band profiles are. Once everything is positioned correctly, I will be changing pretty much everything else. With that said...

I am trying to replicate the positioning for http://www.myspace.com/deadinexistence

What I am trying to do but am completely stumped with:

- Position left column so it doesn't go into the comments
- Fix the right column from being cut off on the left side (text, player, etc.)

I just need some quick help with two more things.

I want to make the Friends part replicate the comments as far as being long and at the bottom of the page above the comments. Similar to http://www.myspace.com/threshhold1

How would I go about doing that without messing up the code?

Also, how would I go about placing an image over the "About Test" and "Test's Latest Blog Entry"?
