what is your initial reaction? and is that bokeh background a little to girly looking? just better without? im having a hard time deciding. It's lacking in the pizazz area. |

and i agree with the links. I thought about changing the background color. also, if you remember when i didnt have photoshop and asked you for that picture? well I ended up not using it for what I was working on and thought about using it now. it seems kind of punny cause its a blank canvas. but that didnt really work out. |

Now the background is too busy -- stick with something that is more like your first layout. What I would do is put tabs or something for behind the links so that it isn't just text for your navigation. In addition to that, you can put more than just one section to your site. (There's only a single window for a single section, that's usually what makes a site look plain). The colors in general are a little muted, but you should try using different colors rather than just varying degrees of a particular color. That might help you out. |
