I'm not really sure how to go about this? Should I keep the spots going on the face, have them stop lower, is it good the way it is? Any suggestions? (Yes, I know it doesn't have a tail yet)

Haha aw, that's so cute! I think you should continue on with the spots but don't have them that dark. Like have the spots fade from light to dark as they go down the giraffe's body. Like this:
