ive seen a lot of really basic sites. and i have seen some really complex sites and everywhere in between. what do you think is a good medium. been working on my site for a while. i like basic, but at the same time i want to be able to show off my skillz. watcha think?
ive been looking at this site for inspiration. http://robo.to/ the problem, textures arent my specialty. and i thought it would create a good medium if i mixed simplicity with texture. i need to work on that for a bit. or i could try a cartoony style site. idk. anyone seen any sites like that recently in those styles? I started this the other day: http://www.josephbcohen.com/site1/ but its obviously not complete. i only got the top half. and its corny. im just hitting a block.
