CB Layout Idea, O_o Rating Options

Well, I can't sleep so I decided to whip up a CB layout idea that I had. I'm not really sure if it came out great, but ehhh, what the heck. I'll give it a shot, might edit some stuff along the way because it still doesn't look right. As far as coding goes, this will be a piece of cake. :P

The top and bottom bars remind me too much of Twitter. The idea is still very basic, but I'm sure you are going to be branching it out some more as you go. The font choice used (I give you props for using a different one, though), is a poor font choice. Spice up your fonts a little bit. (Yeah, I know. I'm one to talk :P) I really don't see how the random assortment of colors fits in with the layout. It looks to dark for the kind of background you're going for. The content setup is nice, but I would actually make the side bar a different color, something lighter or darker, just not the same color.

Hrm, I see what you mean. I want to use a clean font though, you know? Probably something like Myriad Pro, perhaps? Thanks for the advice though, I might make a different layout actually using what you said.

I think that little banner picture/link on the upper left hand side is not necessary and it just doesn't make the layout look good at all. For the section that says "Hello Friend," that includes a picture, I think a script for the image code would be great. Such as adding a border that helps contrast the picture. Also, I do not see why the Basic Information section is needed if you already have the "Hello Friend,"section for explaining yourself.

I thought so as well, I'll remove it later. Uhm, that basic information is just a filler, I didn't know what to put in there but w/e, I'll think of something. Also, what you mean a "script for the image code"? O_o Thanks though.

For sure use a different font. Iono about those little color tabs on the side. Looks random to me. Well I see why you used that after looking at your default but still, it looks random. Try and elaborate more on your theme.

Yeah, but again like I've stated before, I want to use something clean and smooth. And yes, the reason why I made those color tabs was because of the default I used on there but I guess I could change it up some. Thanks Nat.


Oh, quick question, should I make the footer have the same style as the navigation, or should I remove that bar from the footer and leave it for the navigation?
