ok, so the wedding is coming.

i don't want to sound needy, but i thought it would be cool to start a website and send out emails to family, from there to friends, from there to friends, so on and so on.

the email would have a link to the site for donations or something. it just wouldn't be HEY DONATE BECAUSE WE WANT MONEY, it'd be a blog type thing with info and stuff of the like. pictures, updates...whatever

it would kind of be like an internet project to see if a wedding could be completely paid by donations from around the world.

now questions:
what makes us special enough to donate their money?
what would be a good name for the site that wouldn't make it sound like a charity case?
who would have the best hosting plan (bandwidth, server uptime, space...whatever) and could easily be able to handle tons of hits a day? (it may sound like a big dream, but i think by using the 6 degrees of separation yaddayadda, the count could go big)

any other things i need to know would be great.

and don't move this. no one goes to those other forums.

also if someone wants to help, my coding skills are very rusty.

I think I have an idea, but it would only work with pictures (pre-wedding pictures). like maybe 1 or two, large scale, non-posed pictures.
