The other day, a woman came to my door telling me that she had just moved in up the street and her husbands car broke down. She asked me for $20 in gas money and promised to pay me back the next day. I thought $20 was a bit steep so I gave her $10. Later on, my dad told me that people go around neighborhoods asking for "gas money" and then pool it at the end of the day. I felt like an idiot because I am usually good at telling when someone is scamming me but I guess I was just slow that day. Ugh.
Have any of you guys ever been scammed like that? |

Ya, I guess its just because sometimes I like to believe that some people are truly humble and nice and honest... and then I get scammed. Haha.
