Photoshop is the industry standard. However, there are similar tools in other programs that I prefer to Photoshop. The clone stamp is much more fluid in PSP, at least the last time I used it.
I prefer the interface of Photoshop too, I've never liked PSP's. I've tried GIMP, it's free and a decent program. If you have money, I'd say go for PS but if you don't, PSP is much cheaper and whilst it can't do everything PS does, it can do a whole heck of a lot. If you have no money and aren't a pirate, GIMP is your best choice. |
