I got my room hooked up to have tv if I wanted it, and i also have been wanting to buy a monitor to hook my laptop up to, and to use when I make a pc dektop. So, I was wanting to get something that I could use for tv. It will be sitting on my desk, so I was thinking 22" would be a good size. So heres where the problem is. Tvs dont have very large resolutions which isnt good for the computer but the only thing, an lcd monitor would be missing is the, (not sure what they are called) yello, red, and white jacks. Audio and video and whatnot. So should I search for a computer monitor that has that?(do they exist) or should I get a small tv? I will primarily be using it for computer.

If I got a monitor I would probably get this:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16824009145

But as you can see It doesnt have the plugs that let me hook it up to the tv box thing.

if I were to get a tv i would get,
http://www.walmart.com/Haier-22-Lcd-Hdtv/ip/10929998
but the resolution is less then 1440x900 and friggin BRIGHT BLUE doesnt go with my room.

T;DR
good monitor for computer and tv.

i don't really get what you'd need RCA connectors for in the first place, but i duno. when i did this before all i did was get an s-video cable and connect the computer and tv shrug.gif the RCA cable was irrelevent to the tv or computer, it's only purpose was to hook up the xbox/dvd player (in my case)
