Text Effect please?, Can't find a tutorial ANYWHERE :( |

Im trying to make a piece where the "Main text" will be placed on old parchment paper [ on the top and bottom scroll part], and i need it to look like the text is burned into the paper,
does any one have any idea how to do this ? i cant find a tutorial any where.   Here is the image im using  please help i know one of you has to know how 2 do this Stay Up -1- Subliminal |

Just a though, but you could use the burn tool

Ctrl+left click the layer icon in the layers pallatte to the text layer to select the editable area and run the burn tool over that |
