Snow Leopard doesn't have any exciting new features to offer like Windows 7 does (but it's only because Vista is much crappier relative to Leopard). But it makes little tweaks here and there, that culminate to overall better and considerably faster performance (but not for third party apps...yet). Personally I'm willing to pay $30 bucks to free up some space on my hard drive and have stuff run a lot faster.
Also, it's been confirmed that you can upgrade to Snow Leopard without having Leopard to begin with. Just not by Apple cus obv they want you to pay the extra $120. More here: http://lifehacker.com/5347086/confirmed-29...uve-got-leopard Frankly there are many other sites that can give you a clear picture of what's new in Snow Leopard so check it out: Snow Leopard Review: Lightened and Enlightened - Snow leopard review - Gizmodo What You DO Get in Mac OS X Snow Leopard - Snow leopard - Lifehacker Apple - Mac OS X Snow Leopard - Enhancements and Refinements List of applications and their compatibility in SL Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard Compatibility List According to that list, Adobe CS3 does work, just with some minor bugs. |
