when your getting paid per impression do you get 5 cents or is 1,000 impressions for 5 cents in most cases?

btw i heard adsense only does paid per click on ads, do they do impressionss too?

What you're paid is based on the type of ad being shown. Some industries set higher bid levels than others (medical and law are usually in excess of $2 per click, "resource" type industries generally run around 5 - 15 cents per click). CPM (impressions) payments also vary based on industry.

Adsense pays both per click and per 1,000 impressions. Impression payments are based only on image advertisements. Clicks are paid on both text and image, and the amount you get fades over time based on IP address and geographic location (i.e., if you have people in one area clicking more than people in other areas, you get less than the first clicks).
