When you have a conversation with somebody, do you tend to keep your eyes on them or do you let your eyes wander or do you glance at them every so often then glance away?

Even if I know someone really well I don't really like to look them straight in the eyes because I feel it's kind of awkward. Like I'm interrogating them or something lol. But I will make eye contact. Especially if it's a serious conversation.

But then I worry that the person I'm talking to thinks I'm not interested in the conversation, so I tryyyyy to keep my eyes fixed on theirs. And then it gets way too awkward and I have to look someplace else. |
