How long does it take birth control to "kick in" ??
As in- how long do i have to wait when i start the "pack" to be able to have 'safe' sex? I've been looking all over the net and i cant find anywhere that says it. The packet it came with is packed up and i cant read it until i move, by that time i wont need it, can anyone help? Thanks, x |

I'm taking Low-Ogestrel, recently switched from Aviane, and both the pamphlets say to use a backup form of birth control for the first 7 days (from the first Sunday to the second Sunday). I think these are the guidelines for any brand of the birth control pill.
