Do any one plan on getting Project Natal, when it comes out. I want it, I thing that it look really cool, but I just want to see what others are thinking.

Yes, definitely! Ok, so here's my guesstimate on the future of the Xbox 360. Two things have lead me to this conclusion: Microsoft announcing Natal will be bundled with the Xbox 360 and Microsoft announcing this year that the 360 is only half way through its life cycle. I believe that Microsoft is going to release an updated version of the lovely white box, much like Sony did with the PS2. Think of it as a 360 Slim, if you will. It will be smaller, have better hardware (things like a disk tray similar to the PS3s, built in WiFi adapter, bigger hard drive, etc.) and be packed with Natal either integrated directly into the Xbox 360 itself, or separate. I've heard rumors that the stand alone Natal camera we're seeing now is for people who want to keep their current boxes, but the new "360 Slim" will have it built right in. This would not only help extend the Xbox 360's life span, but it would sell lots of units. If my calculations are correct, you'll be seeing my current Xbox on EBay 'cause I'll be getting a 360 Slim.  What do you guys think? |
