Myspace has just gone to the shitter. I wasted three years of my life building a site around making content for that (500+ layouts, 200+ comment boxes...the list goes on), and now barely any of it even works. I guess the chance you take when you make content for another site, but xanga never did anything like that to me. It just died because Myspace came along.

I think the problem is that Myspace keeps trying to be Facebook. Instead of becoming a sad copy of something else, why not stick with what people liked before? Maybe those changes present interesting little challenges for casual designers, but people like me with established sites are screwed. :/
