I need help looking for a Canon; point and shoot camera. I frequent to shows and I need a camera that takes nice pictures in low light settings.
Shows I go to do not let me bring in my dSLR (400D) that I have so I have to resort to the point and shoots. So I'm basically looking for a Powershot series that takes nice pictures in low light settings, has a nice LCD screen (I really like having a big screen), takes good videos/records sound well, long battery life and has a quick start up. My last camera took forever just to turn on. ): What would you recommend? |

I use the Canon Powershot SX10 IS.
It takes pretty good low light pictures, and it has flash on top of it, and it makes low light pictures look pretty good, depending on what you like. Also there is an LCD screen that rotates and is really convenient. The battery life is really good, but it takes 4 batterys, but the battery life lasts about 30 hours. I havent been able to watch the videos on it on my PC because i don't have anything that is .MOV compatible, but when i watch it back on my camera, the quality is really good, and it has very clear sound, and it records in HD. |
