So I am looking at building a new computer and wanted your opinion on the parts. I am not looking to spend over a grand and will NOT purchase AMD products.
Processor Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 2.33GHz Motherboard XFX MB-N780-ISH9 LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 780i SLI RAM two of these for a total of 8 gigs of ram CORSAIR 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Video Card XFX GeForce GTX 275 896MB 448-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Hard Drive HITACHI 1TB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Power Supply Thermaltake Toughpower XT 750W Case Thermaltake ElementS Black SECC ATX Mid Tower |

f*ck you're picky.
unless you're buying i7 and gtx 285 or more powerful, ati/amd is better for price:performance. Buying Intel/nvidia instead of ati/amd is like buying a Bugatti when you can have an SSC Ultimate for a million dollars less, and still have about the same top speed and acceleration. Also dual 4890 > gtx 295 and PII 955 > Core 2 Ultimate (and usually i7 920) and intel will lose you money when buying. also I'll play your game. I'll throw together an intel/nvidia rig for you, because it's not my money. |
