So, I've been hearing a lot of things lately on how harry potter is a spin off of lord of the rings, how which one is better than the other....blah blah blah. I just wanna know what other's opinions are on this topic. I'll try and not triple post on this one.

Far too rushed, too focused on time issues, etc. Most definitely.. the LOTR movies were able to capture and covey Tolkien's genius, whereas the HP movies were disappoingly short... plus they seemd to be ill-fortuned.. didnt they have to get a new Dumbledore every movie cuz something happened to the actor? |
