Well, idk, I'm not really against the scanlines but I would say lower the opacity some and erase over the scanlines so you can see their faces and stuff better. Also, I don't like the lightning bolts either and honestly, I say just take them out.
 Otherwise, it's pretty good.Good to know that you actually take our advice unlike Erin (theerinkal).
