Actually, Many forums that I have seen DO NOT allow alternate accounts because its stupid to have people bounce from one account to another on a whim because they are "bored with that name for the week". The point of joining a forum is to create a identity for yourself so to speak. People should be able to get to know you under one name for a while before one decides its time to change their name. That is the POINT in why there is 6 month bloody wait before you can change a name. Multiple accounts defeat the purpose of this. |
