Admins will have to transfer warn level to the new accounts, so even if they don't have to put old usernames into the duplicate group, it's not like a person creates a new account and forgets about the old.

That is definitely something to consider. I'm sort of thinking of the PokeSpam Fest (and I know that it wasn't just one person). It would have been warnings x the amount of duplicate accounts, if that makes sense. I don't know, like JC I'm personally neither here or there about duplicates at the present. I do see the disadvantages from a staff perspective more than I see the positive though, to be honest but obviously since I'm one who may have to do some of the clean up, I'm probably a bit biased, which is why I like the idea of a discussion. |
