Let's come up with some great scenes for him.

The climax of the film will involve the hero decapitating his arch-nemesis. Once he claims the head, a henchman of the hero reaches down off camera, and also takes a head (the same head), followed by 3 others doing the same thing. The hero gives a very brief, yet confusing glance behind him at the other heads, before holding it high and proclaiming him dead. Then, behind the intrepid heros, the villian shimmers back into existance, starting the same cackling he did originally. The hero looks confused again, turns slowly to face the villian, who is completely oblivious to him. He then holds the head up again, comparing it to the currently alive villain. After carefully weighing the situation, he casually shrugs, throws the head, and lunges for the villain again. He counterparts do the same, and they all begin the fight, shouting the same things they did the first time. One of them calls out "I hope he drops my belt this time!"

As the camera pans out, the snake that lay in the corner, slayed by a casual flick of the mage's finger, starts crawling around again as if it was never killed.

Fade to black to the sounds of epic battle.
