is cursing & swearing wrong/crime/sinful?
i've been doing it since 9th grade & its only gotten worse. BUT MY DEAL IS I CURSE ALL I WANT AT HOME. never outside in public or around family or people. but when my bro cusses, my parents yell at him, so whys it WRONG for guys more than for girls?? |

I just realized that I didn't even respond to this. I've never seen or been a part of any situation where it would be considered more inappropriate for a male to swear than it would be for a female to swear. Typically, it's considered crass for a female to have a potty mouth (and I've been told as much, several times). Honestly, I'm not much for abiding by social standards for the sake of abiding by social standards. I don't see anything wrong with swearing, cursing, cussing, etc. They are just words. |
