I have always just gotten my external hard drive, deleted my current backup and then added a folder for videos, documents, pictures, music and so forth. I would like to do it with a program though instead. What do you suggest?

Is there a program like that, but freeware?
And i believe vista still has a backup utility but now it sucks. And it doesnt just transfer files, it saves it as some fancy thing.

I think I would like to use a program for this but I am replacing my computer so I need to put all my files on my hard drive and I think i know how to backup my mozilla firefox bookmarks.

Is there a program that would allow me to basically transfer my personal folder(joseph) to my exernal hard drive because I just want totransfer documents music video and pictures. I dont need to clone my C:/ drive.tanks.

It saves it as a backup file. It's essencially a giant compressed file to save space. It works the same exact way.
