What are/were the pros and cons of being a teenager?
Though I by no means intend to promote anorexia, I think the biggest pro to being a teenager was weighing in at 95lbs. This weight was not intentional, as I would normally eat my weight in pasta. Then came beer. I now weigh in between 120 and 125. Though proportionate, I’d like again to be all Lolita and crap. I’d totally be one of those Suicide Girls, and wish I had been when I had the chance. Everything else about being a teenager, for me, was a con. School or friends weren’t a problem for me, but, I hafta say, the things I wore, the things I fought for are well, embarrassing. The adult Mandi would definitely not be friends with the teenage Mandi, the freakin’ poser. Teenagers are weird. They’re not children, but they’re not adults either. Like the sporks of society. I'm undecided if I wish to be a teen again. |

You know what, I don't mind being a teenager, but I can't say I'm not excited for growing up.
I'm working two jobs right now and the stress they lay on me is entirely too palpable. I wish I didn't have to take on any responsibility, but I know starting early teaches me to appreciate what I have. But yeah, the teenage years are ace. I loff the danger. |
