Windows isnt the best at handling these kind of things.
I have a headphones mic thing. Its headphones with a mic attached.
Well I plug in the green plug and red (headphones and mic) into the right jacks and then some program pops up and to make the mic start working I have to click the jack that I plugged the mic into. It got annoying having to press a stupid button ever time i plug it in, so i set it to not open every time I plugged in a mic and I thought that it would recognize the mic automatically the next time I plug it in. Guess what...
So im not sure what to do.

This is what I see:
(sorry for the mess)

The lower one, (microphone array) is my built in mic. It is picking stuff up.
The one above it, is the mic. It is enabled but it isnt picking anything up.
What to do?

I just laughed for a good two minutes. That was one of the funniest things I've read in a while.
