Thought I'd just get some C&C on this. I think it came out pretty good on this one. First, just to explain some things, the little links to the left that say About Me, Friends, Comment, and etc. are going to be links that will change the content to the right of it so for example, if you were to click on Comment, the little content to the right that has about me stuff would switch to a Comment form. The little paint kind of thing below those links is where a 100x100 user pic will go. Those big words on the bottom are of course the main navigation and that's pretty much it.

I recognize that font.

I don't know if I like it, Mike. You definitely could have found a better font for the content areas. The colours you chose don't work together.
It might be the yellow's brightness? You used splats, sparkles and gradients all in one piece, which wasn't too effective. They just clash, you know what I mean? But it is a change. I love that you are trying new styles and techniques. However next time, I suggest keeping the style coherent. Whether you're going for a grungy / urban or professional look, try to maintain it throughout. I don't usually find designs or layouts that can mix more than one and make it work.

Yeah, I guess I see what you mean. I also get the feeling that the "Visual" text's perspective and gradient isn't too good either. Idk, I just used some things that kinda give off a 'dope' look. Like I figured I would use sparkles since it supposed to be 'fresh' and well you know, sometimes glossy gradients and splats give that "Yeah, I'm professional but still got swag" kind of feel to it. I'll see if I can lower the yellow's brightness. What other colors might you think look good?
