Couldnt find a thread like this. Do you turn your computer off at night?

I would also like to hear answers on the geekier side. Which extends the life of your computer the longest?

I always turn it off at night because I feel like it needs to rest. Because it gets hot doesnt it? And because I know that some programs that may have memory leaks may be using up all my memory and it wont go back down until I restart.

I can't help but notice that the majority of the users that frequent this website have a complete lack of respect for you. In fact, to the new user, some of the comments that other members hurl your way seem downright rude and disrespectful, however those who sit back and observe quickly realize you're bringing it upon yourself.
