Notebook effect help

I know it is called layer mask, I can do it with simple paper brush/texture. I don't know how to make it with notebook texture, like this:

Filling it with color didn't worked and the picture wasn't getting in the mask. (Like filling the spirals of the notebook won't work.) What should I do?

Yes I know... But I am trying to add a full screenshot.
Example;

Like that screenshot inside the notebook texture. However, if I try to add it (ctrl+left click) into the texture, it will cover the spirals, it won't pass beneath it.

I hope I made sense, XD.
