What diet would you suggest for me.
I am always hungry cause im going through puberty, I take vitamin pills every day. I really just need to be told what to eat. I never really regulate it. i just like eating so I probably eat like 5, 30 calorie Popsicles a day. And I have about 4 meals. Idk what im really asking so I need someone to take it somewhere and give me ideas. Also I have no workout equipment and I constantly have urges where I want to do pull ups but I cant. O and when I was about 8 years old I used to workout like crazy. Seriously. But I did the same stuff every day so my chest got really big but it's like not spread out. And now since Im pretty short it just looks like all these muscles cramped together on a small torso. So I dont want to bulk up! I want to slim down as much as possible and then once im totally slim Ill start working out properly. |

P90X sucks ass. The nutritional guidelines entail carb cycling without an increase in fat to compensate for the lack of glycogen you'll have in your system (the notion that fat actually serves such a role is suspect in itself, but it's at least something over nothing at all - low fat diets fail for entirely different reasons, of course), and there are barely any, if any at all, posterior chain movements.
ya thinkI should continue to do situps and pushups? cause i dont really want to get bulk RIGHT NOW. I just want to get flat and toned. Sit-ups also suck ass. They contraindicate your vertebrae and don't isolate your abdominals. "Tone" is the opposite of flat. Bulking will make you more toned. "The modern fitness industry's concept of 'toning' muscles is specious - it might sound cool, but it lacks any tangible and definable meaning. The term 'muscle tone' or tonus describes an electrophysiological phenomenon, a measure of ionic flow across muscle cell membranes. It can be thought of as the muscle's readiness to do anaerobic work. Most exercise programs that claim to improve muscle tone are actually lower-intensity hypertrophy programs and are only moderately effective for improving muscle tone. If 'tone' is the goal, strength is the method." -Practical Programming, pg. 60 |
