Do you feel as though you have the right to judge those of the same race? A few friends and I had this discussion earlier after another guy who considers himself a "redneck" called someone else "white trash." Initially, it got a lot of laughs, but as the discussion rolled on, a friend of mine openly said that he wasn't eager to help Katrina victims when he lived in Mississippi. The remark got a lot of mixed responses. Soon after that, another guy made a comment about how he loathes the term "hispanic."

I mean it really depends. Light skinned blacks do have this idea as though they are better than darker blacks. I know that I myself wouldn't date a black girl but that's just my personal preferance.

I have dark skin but i never let any light skin person think that he/she is better than me i just don't let that happen i love my skin color & i look good/hot/sexy/attractive the thing is - dark skinned African Americans just have to be more confident & besides not every light skinned person is good looking/hot/sexy anyway |
